A key feature of SmartCarbon’s carbon footprint calculator is the new Supply Chain reporting dashboard which has been developed to tackle the challenges of engaging suppliers in your net-zero strategy.
It has been successfully launched within an NHS Trust, which has one of the most complex and diverse supply chains and consequently carbon footprint. All suppliers are able to report their emissions on a free tool but have the option for more comprehensive reporting using SmartCarbon’s full platform. This eliminates the cost barrier for supplier carbon engagement.
The SmartCarbon platform and carbon footprint calculator also require suppliers to set their own carbon reduction targets. Those subscribing to the full platform can report their data to multiple customers with a click of a button.
A series of webinars for suppliers created a groundswell of motivation and equipped suppliers with the insight to engage their own workforce.
