SmartCarbon has partnered with Construction Excellence in North East (CENE) to offer a rolling programme of training, measuring, and sharing best practices to construction companies to help them reduce their carbon emissions. Utilising the SmartCarbon carbon footprint calculator, construction businesses in the North East can utilise the UK’s leading carbon calculator and access expert help to help them make meaningful progress on their carbon reduction or net-zero strategy.
SmartCarbon Director, Anna-Lisa Mills said, “We are excited to be the part of OneVoice action plan and enable North East England industry on their path to becoming ‘England’s Greenest Region’.”
This is one of SmartCarbon’s latest projects that are supporting membership organisations or supply chain management, to provide support to their members or suppliers. “We are working with NHS Trusts, environmental organisations and progressive local authorities who share our ambition in tackling the climate emergency in an impactful way,” says Anna-Lisa.
